Knoppix problems

hey Linux Group, I have some questions about the Knoppix 3.6 CD you handed
out.


1.  I cannot boot off the normal kernal, I have to boot off the 2.6,
otherwise the computer goes silent and the screen black and nothing
happens.  Any ideas?

2.  Knoppix does not detect my mouse connected to the USB (I am using a
labtop) Any ideas how I can fix that?

3.  Knoppix does not shut down.  When I choose shut-off computer, the
screen goes crazy and just starts scrolling the code all over the screen,
but it a static sort of way, kind of like your television with bad
reception.
