Re: [lug-l] LUG Meeting Today

This is pretty unacceptable. One email from the President and another email from the Vice President saying completely opposite things.

Might I remind members of the board:

Greater than fifty percent of the regularly attending members makes a quorum.

In this case (although not as clearly defined as it should be), it seems the President has decided that attendance would be below 50% of the regularly attending members in which a decision was made to cancel the meeting.

Having the Vice President make a decision without consulting the President whereas he gathers under that 50% is confusing, against the constitution, and shows a communication breakdown across eboard members. Therefore, this meeting would merely be a "meetup" and should not fall under the "official LUG Meeting" tag.

Hopefully, the future can being better planning and development of LUG meetings and events so these kinds of communication breakdowns don't happen.

PS: This is kind of a "cmon guys". I think with better communication, a new revision of the Constitution may also be in order.
