[lug-l] Fwd: Re: [Nanocon-l] planning meeting

They're starting the planning for Nanocon this year. Is there any interest in lug being a part of it? In the past we've ran lan parties in one of the rekhi labs.

Is anyone in lug right now already (planning on) attending nanocon meetings?

We're trying to avoid piggybacking the Nanocon planning on top of a HARO meeting because of it is a multiple organization event and holding it during a single org's meeting leads to poor event planning.  I am trying to find a good time to meet to do the general planning for Nanocon.  HARO can plan their involvement in Nanocon when they have their meeting.

If what you say is true, then November 9 and 10 would be the best time.  We can decide at the planning meeting when we can put together a meeting.

All Nanocon meetings are held during HARO on Thursday at 8 PM (either earlier or later depending on what show we're finishing up). We will usually be U115 during that time, but not this week.

Also, the best time to do it would be a week after Safehouse which is either Oct 25th and 26th or Nov 1st and 2nd, which means that we would want to hold it on the weekend of either Nov 1st or Nov 8th.

Hello Nanocon people.  We need to figure out a time and place to plan this year's Nanocons.  It appears that one of the early weekends in November (or perhaps the last one in October) will be ideal for this semester's Nanocon.  Late in November is Thanksgiving and early in October is way too soon.  There might be one or more weekends that are bad for one or more people so we need to get together to plan things.

What days work for you guys for planning meetings?  Tuesdays?  Wednesdays?  I know Fridays are GA and Thursdays at least used to be HARO but what days works for a meeting or two for Nanocon stuff?
