Running a AMD 64 Athon II x4 CPU on a ASUS motherboard, OS is Xubuntu 12.04 updated until about a week ago. The file that is giving the problems is : Unable to parse package file /var/lib/apt/lists/us.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise-updates_restricted_binary-amd64_Packages

any way to fix without doing a entire reinstall???
