Re: IEEE meeting, free icecream

Are you trying to join IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), which you should do if you are going into any field that has anything to do with Computers, Electricity or Engineering? If so, go to the IEEE website (www.ieee.org). You get a student discount on annual dues while you are a undergrad or graduate student.

Or are you trying to join the local chapter of IEEE on campus to partake in club activities and use the club lab? In which case you should visit a meeting or the club's website.

Join IEEE here: http://www.ieee.org/membership_services/membership/join/index.html?WT.mc_id=u_join
Student branch IEEE: http://ieee.students.mtu.edu/

Regards,
Dan

Not to spam the list but this is of relevance to both clubs.

The IEEE lab has been of indispensable use to pfrc and personal computer projects over the past couple years, membership only 5$ a semester, and they have free icecream.
