Exactly.  They begged questions in ways that only a marketing department
can.  The response should be something along the lines of "That's right,
and here's why Linux doesn't need WGA.  Here's OpenOffice."

As long as people are stuck on branding and named applications, adoption
will be slow.  If you redirect the debate to functionality and features,
that may change.  Web browsers are doing just that, to an extent -- the
last major hurdle being proprietary media formats.
