You can find xbox live 12+1 month memberships on ebay for under the price
they normally sell for. Another way that I've always managed to weasel my
way into getting a $30 off coupon from dell off of ebay or direct from
them. The membership ends up costing a total of $20-$25 that way. It's
really not that expensive and is a lot less of a headache than jury
rigging something up.

The flat dollar rate discount coupons only pop up periodically. Right now
I only see coupons for a percentage discount. Keep checking for them.
