Primary compute and file server for the MTU computer science department.
The machine is a Sun Microsystems Ultra 80 with 4 450Mhz UltraSPARC-II CPUs. Students in the Operating Systems class are notorious for crashing the machine.
The name is from a movie, Colossus: The Forbin Project
