Michigan is formed by two peninsulas, the Upper and the Lower. The Lower Peninsula is more widely recognized as it is in the shape of a mitten. The two are connected together by the Mackinac Bridge. Those who live above the bridge are called [[Yoopers]], and those who live below it are [[Trolls]]. |

The Upper Peninsula is home to [[Michigan Technological University]] (in the [[Keweenaw]] Peninsula). |
