Last night I wrote a linux program that detects when you put a disc in
your cd drive. It also detects the type of disc that was inserted, and
runs a configurable command.

Right now I have it set up to start mplayer when I put in a dvd, and xmms
when I put in a audio cd, and mount data cds.
