LUG is going to be hosting regular Linux Tips and Tricks sessions
starting this Thursday, replacing this weeks meeting, in Rekhi 117 at
7pm, with a hands-on introduction to Linux in the labs. Refreshments
will be provided. If you have friends that are interested in becoming
more familiar with Linux, encourage (trick/force...) them to come.
Future sessions will be scheduled based on attendance, interest, and
availability of presenters. If you want to volunteer, or just have a
topic you'd like to see presented, please email the list.
In other news, the installathon has been tentatively scheduled for
Saturday October 11th. Details will (hopefully) be making their way to
the website in the near future.
Additionally, LUG is now running a Tor node. The node nickname is
MTULUG. At the moment the exit policy is reject *.*. We still need to
discuss whether or not to open this up in the future. Freenet has also
been installed. Details and a status update at the next meeting or on IRC.
