Web presence for a writer

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way for an independent
writer to show off their writings through some generalized software
package.  I would be providing her with a web presence and I would
prefer to give her a software package similar to a wiki that would
allow her to post her stories for download.  It wouldn't be totally
like a blog, more like a directory listing with descriptions of
sorts.  If anyone has ideas let me know.
