Preferences

General

You can set whether you want to see a tip of the day at startup. Next, you can set whether the tool shall automatically expand selected nodes, and automatically collapse deselected nodes.

Also, you can define a percentage threshold that is used to emphasize large nodes in the navigation panel using a boldface.

Charting

You can fine tune the pie and bar charts used in the views. Choose the maximum number of elements, a percentage threshold, and chart color saturation and brightness. A preview is available at the bottom of the tab.

Look&Feel

You can choose a look and feel. If you are using the JGoodies Plastic Look you can select a color theme from the list. A preview is available in the tab's bottom.

Commands

You can set a command that you can invoke from the tool's popup menu. For example, you can open your platform's default file viewer, execute a remove command, or launch a compression utility. To access the selected folder use '{0}' in the parameters field.

Filter

You can define a list of directories that will be excluded from the disk scan. For example, on most Unix platforms you should exclude '/dev'. On Linux one should additionally exclude '/proc'. If you want to exclude the Windows recycler on drive C:, choose 'C:\RECYCLER'.
