ManoftheSea: Can't fix computer problems.

All his computers pass on to the bit bucket in the sky, within one year of having them.

-120G SATA drive, bad alignment, repeat offender. Man didn't learn the first time, so 10 months later, ate more data, forcing reinstall. 3 new Windows keys and counting. And, my copy of Windows is and shall remain legal.

-Old routerbox. Wouldn't pass certain packets, generally on large ftp files. Same files on http, get, etc... but not on an sftp connection. This lead me to believe it's only for certain byte orders.

-Old linux machine, 266 Processor. Power supply Vcore went from 1.4 (in spec.) to >2 V in an hour... When plugged back in (after removing all power out connections) it exploded. No, not in the metal shards sense.

-Old AT power supply. While trying to turn the power supply on without connecting to a motherboard (to run a breadboard) circuit breakers were tripped. Enough said...

All I need to kill is some piece of modern hardware, and I'll end up back on a typewriter.
