• MEEM: Mechancial Engineering - Engineering Mechanics (Building 20)
• Troll: A resident of the Lower Peninsula
• WMTU: Campus radio station
• Yooper: A long time resident of the UP

Outdated Jargon

These are terms that have come to be outdated and are not often used.

• CLIT: The new CS building. Also known as Rekhi for the n00bs.
• Cyberia Cafe: Local Coffee shop with free wifi (closed 2025)
• Motherlode: Local Coffee shop with free wifi (closed)
