So you run linux, eh? And you no longer have windows on your computer? And for some odd reason you need a program like those in the computer labs, but you don't want to visit campus at 3 AM? Try one of Tech's terminal servers. rdesktop is a good client program. type rdesktop -h to learn to use it.
Servers with lots of software, but your home directory is not connected and there is no Firefox
