So you run linux, eh? And you no longer have windows on your computer? And for some odd reason you need a program like those in the computer labs, but you don't want to visit campus at 3 AM? Try one of Tech's terminal servers. rdesktop is a good client program. type rdesktop -h to learn to use it.

Servers with lots of software:

  • cecn-wts1.coe.ad.mtu.edu
  • cecn-wts2.coe.ad.mtu.edu
    • (or wts.cecn.mtu.edu to have dns pick for you)

Servers with much less software

  • coe-wts1.coe.ad.mtu.edu
  • coe-wts2.coe.ad.mtu.edu
  • i94.coe.ad.mtu.edu
