Re: [lug-l] Unplanned reboot happening real soon

So, after some messing around with the chunk pointers in the save data, i was able to fix the world.  There is now a backup system in place so I won't have to do it again.

The minecraft world is getting reset, we weren't doing regular backups and the reboot caused a lot of problems with chunks being misplaced.  The entire world has chunks in the wrong spots.  I'll also be setting up a back up system in v2.0 of the world.

Well, a few of you have noticed that our server's storage backend has decided to throw a curve ball at us at the best possible time.  We already tried rebooting via console and broke our KVM in the process, so as a last resort, i'm just going to try to reboot the entire rack and hope that everything is bootable.  i'll give you until 19:45 to save all your work on *.lug.mtu.edu.  yes, this will affect sekhmet and mc as well.  sorry.

Oh, and anyone who wants to develop a robot to live in the server room and push buttons has our support.
