I'd recommend against ever uninstalling something that provides libc.
'rpm' itself is linked against that library, as are most other
fundamental system tools.

If it's really shot, I'd be surprised if your machine boots to something
useful.  Your best bet is probably to boot from an appropriate rescue CD
and either copy the libc.so.6 file from the CD or from another working
machine.  Either way, once you get your PC back up, make sure you verify
or even force install the proper RPM for libc so everything agrees.
